Born and raised in Laval, Quebec, I attended McGill University and graduated with a Bachelor's of Education in 2006 concurrently with a Certificate in Tourism from Concordia University. I was at a crossroads in my life, trying to combine my obsession for travel with my passion for education. The best solution was to embark on an international teaching opportunity which brought me to England. I taught grade 2 at an inner city school in Luton. This experience has largely influenced my philosophy of education, and I often measure my accomplishments to the requirements of the British educational system. After returning to Canada in 2007, and getting married, I started teaching Science at my current school in Rosemere, Quebec. Soon thereafter, I found myself getting involved in other aspects of the teaching profession outside of the classroom, which fed into my love of curriculum development.
I am the mother of two wonderful boys (5 year old and 6 month old - as of September 2020), whom I adore beyond anything. I am always on the lookout for new projects that will satisfy my need for personal and professional improvement. I am very new to this world of online collaboration in that I am currently not a member of any social media platforms. This experience will undoubtedly encourage me to explore this further.
